Bethel AME Carlisle’s 9th Annual MLK Luncheon
The Bethel Carlisle family invites you to our 9th Annual Luncheon to honor the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.
This year’s theme is “In Their Hands: Passing the Torch to Future Generations.”
Our scripture is 1 Kings 19:19 “So he set out from there and found Elisha son of Shaphat, who was plowing. There were twelve yoke of oxen ahead of him, and he was with the twelfth. Elijah passed by him and threw his mantle over him.“

Our host church is, once again, Carlisle’s Second Presbyterian Church. We are most grateful to Second Presbyterian and to Pastor Jeff Gibelius for their partnership and their hospitality. The church is located at 528 Garland Dr, Carlisle, PA 17013.
Our Keynote Speaker is Jean Foschi, Cumberland County Commissioner.
Our MC is Rev. Ivy J. Berry, currently pastor at Bethel AME Church in Downingtown, PA.
