Bethel AME Carlisle’s 8th Annual MLK Luncheon
Pastor Crummy and the Bethel family invite you to our 8th Annual Luncheon to honor the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on January 13, 2024.
This year’s theme is “Harmony in Humanity, Celebrating Inclusivity.”
Our scripture is Romans 12:15-18: “Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.“

Our host church is, once again, Carlisle’s Second Presbyterian Church. We are most grateful to Second Presbyterian and to Pastor Jeff Gibelius for their partnership and their hospitality. The church is located at 528 Garland Dr, Carlisle, PA 17013.
Our Keynote Speaker is TaWanda Hunter Stallworth, M.Div. who serves currently as Program Manager of the Antiracist Development Institute at Penn State Dickinson Law. Our MC is Rev. Ivy J. Berry, currently pastor at Bethel AME Church in Downington, PA.
The cost for the luncheon is $35. Financial assistance is available upon request.
